Radiology Programs at Coastal Bend College

Radiology

The Radiologic Technology Program is a 2-year program designed to prepare the student for an exciting career as a Health Care Professional. Students will have earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree. Students will gain experience and knowledge through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical hands on experience. Clinical sites will include surrounding community hospitals.

Upon completion of the program, students will have developed the skills as an entry level Radiologic Technologist. The student will then be able to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) exam. The successful completion of the ARRT exam will allow the student to then apply for a Texas Medical Board license as required by the State of Texas for employment.

Radiography classes are offered on the Beeville Campus only. Contact the program for more details.
