Cougar Card and Badge Information
Student Badges can be obtained for programs such as Nursing, Welding, Cosmetology, and more. Ask your Instructor or refer to your program's Student Handbook to see if the following information is relevant to you.
Student, Faculty, and Staff Badges can be obtained from any of the four library site locations or by submitting a Cougar Card Request Form.
Students: Please bring documentation that shows your Student Identification Number as well as your current enrollment in the program.
Helpful Information for Students
If you are a new student:
We now offer ID processing online! Call 361-354-2737 for information on how to order your ID online.
Returning Students:
Once your ID is made, it is good until you graduate. Be careful not to lose it.
BankMobile mails your COUGAR credit CARD for financial aid disbursement to the mailing address you provided the College 2-4 weeks after your Cougar ID is made. They mail it in a green envelope. If you are staying in the dorms you should list that address for ID purposes.
Any refund money you're entitled to can be sent to your card or directly to your bank.
Activate your account by entering the activation code sent to you in the mail within a bright green envelope.
Select either ACH deposit, or Vibe Checking Account.
Enter all of the necessary information and when funds are disbursed, they will go to the option chosen.
If your selections are not configured before the disbursement date, you will receive a paper check in the mail 21 days after the initial disbursement.
If you are under 16, you do NOT qualify to receive your refund electronically.
