The natural sciences are aimed more towards quanitative rather than qualitative data as compared to the social sciences. Data sources presented here vary greatly depending on course assignments hence the variety of sources.

  • Centers for Disease Control
    Health information including disease and conditions.
    Contains information on each chemical element including atomic number, atomic weight, boiling point, crystal structure, date discovered, melting point, molar mass, number of electrons, number of isotopes, number of protons, specific gravity, and symbol.
  • National Center for Health Statistics
    NCHS allows users to find key statistics on a variety of health resources. Includes data download and other tools.
  • NOAA Environmental Visualization Laboratory
    Public domain satellite data, images, & visualizations from the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
  • National Institutes of Health
    The Nation's Medical Research Agency supporting scientific studies that turn discovery into health
  • World Health Organization
    Primary role is to direct and coordinate international health within the United Nations’ system.
